and The Arts
(serves in 8:45 worship)
Like to sing and be part of a fun group? The St. Matthew Chancel Choir is just the place for you. In an environment of grace, we blend our voices to the glory of God with our music ministry.
The Chancel Choir sings for our Traditional worship service at 8:45am. Each week we prepare an anthem to share and offer support in the singing of hymns. We also provide musical offerings for seasonal services.
The choir is open to members of all ages and practices on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Summer months may affect this schedule.

Our Praise Team is a multi-talented group of musicians who lead our Contemporary Worship service at 11am. The group consists of vocalists and instrumentalists and they sing and play a variety of more contemporary worship music ranging from hits of the 1970's to today.
This group is currently looking for new members! If you enjoy singing or you play an instrument such as electric bass, guitar, or drums, please join them!

Drama and the Arts
St. Matthew has a long history of supporting the arts and putting on productions in Clinton County. We often include opportunities for our more "dramatic" members to use their talents in our services and community.
If you are interested in being involved in dramas or future church plays, please contact Janeen Burrows or our Church Office!
Sheltered Reality is a specialized drumming group that is hosted by St. Matthew. The group is affiliated with the nationwide Sheltered Reality group and requires a monthly membership fee and participation in fundraisers. They love having new members and it is a fun and encouraging group for drummers of all ages! Check out the national Sheltered Reality Website by clicking below or talk to Denise Goodman for more information!
The Handbells play at the 8:45 Traditional Worship service 3-4 times each year, often around major holidays. Their practice schedule is currently less frequent and set according to the schedule of our participants and upcoming performances. See Janeen Burrows for more iinformation!
